Shared Identity explores the concept of shared cultural homogeneity in our global community through the act of food communication.
Using London as a point of reference – a multicultural city whose identity is made up through immigration and the multitude of cultures that combine to make it – these sharing platter enact the different parts and the building blocks that make up a community. The shapes and colours are taken from the national flags that make up the city’s demography and in their abstraction create a new identity
