MOULD COFFEE TABLE
by Theodóra Alfreðsdóttir
A collection of low ceramic side tables that explore the possibility of using a single mould to produce unique objects. With a stackable mould, the project studies if achieving uniqueness within a standardised process can add value to the outcome.
The mould consists of 3 parts in shapes based on a square, triangle, and circle which can be stacked differently each time a new piece is made, resulting in all unique pieces. The mould can either be used to slip cast or press mould ceramics which then are fitted with a glass top to create a table.
Material: Jesmonite (gypsum powder and water based resin) and glass

This Product Plants A Tree
As part of ÅBEN's mission to make a more positive contribution to the environment, we have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every product sold. Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
We need more trees. Find out more on onetreeplanted.org
