DRILL vase
by Erik Olovsson
Part chaos and part control, Drill Vases are an exercise in improvisation. The origin of the project lies in Carrara, and the small fragments of marble found discarded by quarries in the region. I began to collect these stones. The geometry of the handblown glass provides a sense of order and control in comparison to the spontaneity of the marble. A contrast that elevates the brut nature of the marble further.

This Product Plants A Tree
As part of ÅBEN's mission to make a more positive contribution to the environment, we have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every product sold. Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
We need more trees. Find out more on onetreeplanted.org
